About One Pan Daily
One Pan Daily publishes one recipe a day that cooks in a single pan, pot or tray. Every recipe is laid out to be cooked from rather than read around: a jump link straight to the ingredients, tick-off checkboxes, a serving scaler that does the arithmetic, and a print view with no advertising in it.
The reason the site exists is that most recipe pages are hostile to the person actually cooking. Autoplaying video, a wall of advertising, and eight hundred words of preamble before a quantity appears. This one is an argument that a page can be readable and still pay for itself.
How the recipes are made
Recipes here are written with the help of AI, working from well-established practice, and are reviewed before they are published. We think you should know that rather than have to guess at it.
What that means in practice: we do not claim to have cooked, tested, photographed or eaten any particular dish, and you will never find a story on this site about a holiday where somebody first tasted it. Where a recipe gives a time, a temperature or a technique, it reflects established practice for that kind of cooking, and anything that matters for safety — internal temperatures for meat, in particular — is stated explicitly.
Everything is checked before publishing for the things that actually ruin the job: something used in a step but missing from the list, quantities that do not match, and timings that do not add up. If you find one that got through, please tell us — that is the single most useful thing you can do for the next person.
